Community Recycling
The Village Hall is a collection point for recycling certain plastic packaging. The recycling programmes are sponsored by various manufacturers. We collect the following packaging:
- Crisps, popcorn, pretzel and nuts packets, including multipack bags
- Biscuit wrappers, cake and cracker wrappers
- Cut bread bags, plus other bakery wrappers such as crumpets, rolls, bagels, wraps, etc, including closure tags and waxed paper wrap
- Any flexible cheese and all Babybel packaging.
- Flexible plastic coffee packaging (not capsules)
- Dental products - electric toothbrush heads, flossing sticks, interdental brushes & floss containers.
- Pringles cans
- Plastic Food storage containers and reusable bottles (any brand)
- All Ferrero Rocher and Ferrero Collection packaging, including hard plastic trays

There are bins (through the gate into the front courtyard of the village hall) so that you can drop your recyclable items off at any time. Please spread the word to reduce waste and also benefit the village hall. You've helped us raise well over £2500 so far and prevented a mountain of plastic from going to landfill. Thank you.

Flatten crisp packets
Place small wrappers in a bag eg. Babybel
Do not drop off any items not listed above
Do not knot/origami wrappers as these have to be unpicked before dispatch to Terracycle
