The village hall committee celebrated the 75 years since Howard Spensley gave the building to the village with a 2-day exhibition in September 2015.
There was a display of photos and timeline exhibits along with plans for the proposed major refurbishment of the hall.
The hall is very busy during the week with Brownies, Westcaf, adult and youth drama, Carpet Bowls, Big Screen as well as older peoples' groups, WI and Parish Council meetings. At weekends it is a popular venue for social gatherings and children’s and family parties.
